This post keeps ending up on the back burner while juggling my two jobs, life, and exercise the last week and a half, for not having the right verbose motivation at the right time. But hey, that’s why I have an action camera now!
Anyhow, here’s a few videos and a collection of photographs taken at/from Why Racing Events Spring Classic Duathlon (run-bike-run) that I competed in. In summary, I did not PR over last year, my time was nearly identical. My transitions were a little faster and the runs/ride were a little slower, mostly the ride, I just wasn’t feeling it, and my winter preparation was not on par.
Nonetheless, it’s a fun race and I hope we can recruit more wheelchair athletes in the future, as well as encourage Why Racing Events to get on board with making some of there other events accessible for all of us.
So, without further ado, here’s the videos first, in full 360, so look around, especially so you can see my awkward transitions (camera died after T2 so did not capture the 2nd run and finish, more on that later), followed by a fist full of pictures.
